well, it’s over. my _two week_ long contractual job affair with the department of tourism is history. and perhaps soon, i’ll be recieving my first ever professional paycheck. pretty pleased with how things turned out. it all came together, even if _all_ of submissions came in freakinshly fucking late. if this is how the government works.. then no wonder this country doesn’t improve. my sympathies to gloria m.

-wma to mp3 conversion in linux-
i downloaded the used - i caught fire song and everything went well till i tried plying it on my phone. turns out, it was wma encoded.
found this howto at linuxquestions.org :
the original posting consisted of a script which automates conversion of many files in a particular directory.. i only needed to convert one file so i just got the relevant section …

only recently has dota been given the mass attention it enjoys right now .. though medyo ya tarda ya se aki tan play mga people… antes kasi chene pa mga gunbound… and stuffs like that… now… everyone is a convert. the good thing is.. we make friends with people we never thought we’d talked to … like akel mga people i see everyday at school and i thought of them as just no-good frat-type gigolos .. akel gale.. bueno sila klase hente.. and they know how to play a “team-game” too…
era kel chene tamen girl dota player… that would be sweet and refreshing gad na eyes miyo.
